About
Between the Lines –
The show is entirely composed of original Hebrew versions of the great folk hits of the 60s and 70s and the stories behind the songs.
We emphasize Hebrew versions that fit the original text on the one hand, but are valid for the Israeli, general, and personal ethos on the other hand:
To whom did Joan Baez write a song of unrequited love? What does Bob Dylan ask of a lover who left him? In how many ways can one leave a loved one according to Simon & Garfunkel? And who is that sad girl preserved in Cat Stevens' song? And are American songs from the 60s and 70s relevant to Israel of the 2000s?
In the show “Between the Lines”, Rili and Eyal answer these questions and others, and do so only in Hebrew. For a good story can be told anytime, anywhere, and in any language.
